Atlanta Dream Owner Kathy Betty recorded one of the most successful seasons for a rookie owner in professional sports history in 2010 as the Dream won the Eastern Conference title and advanced to the WNBA Finals. Since acquiring the team in October 2009, Betty has re-energized the fan base and community in support of the team. In 2011, she announced the additions of Mary Brock and Kelly Loeffler to the team's ownership group, forming the first all-female ownership group in Atlanta pro sports. Betty remains as managing partner.
